Thank you for your love and support. You, the readers, have made this magazine a reality. Copies of Me Magazin can now be readily found at a pocket friendly price, at different Pressbyrån, Presstop and different shops all over Sweden. And courtesy of support and encouragement from you, the readers, we are now expanding our circulation to other Scandinavia countries. Back home, in Africa, we already have a presence in Uganda, Kenya and Southern Sudan. We wish to take this opportunity to salute and congratulate all the peoples of Southern Sudan for getting political independence --- and becoming new members of the African Union and United Nations Organisation.
That aside, on 24th September 2011, we shall be offcially launching Me Magazin at Berns Salonger Berzelii Park, Stockholm. We welcome all of you, especially readers within the proximity of Scandinavian countries, to come and celebrate this special day with us. As you must have already noticed, part of Me Magazin’s remit is to tell the story about you --- and fellow Africans in the Diaspora --- from an Afro-centric but professionally objective point of view.
We report about your successes, challenges, inspirations, and of course how you can stay healthy and beautiful. In a nutshell, Me Magazin is not about rocket science but rather about day-today life issues, which will keep you better informed, educated and entertained. So, grab that pen and paper or computer mouse and share your story with us and fellow readers. Some of those heart-rending experiences are worth sharing. And in a similar vein, readers would love to love to know how you’ve worked hard and bettered your life. And if your soul is endowed with empathy and sympathy, how are you positively impacting the lives of less privileged folks here in Europe and back home in Africa? Let us combine efforts in ensuring that we work toward a better tomorrow. Enjoy the latest menu of Me Magazin.
